Support Over Stigma is committed to making a difference in addressing homelessness. Through our dedicated efforts and collaborations, we work to provide essential support, resources, and advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Our Programs Include:
Home insecurity refers to a situation where individuals or families lack stable and consistent access to safe and affordable housing. It encompasses issues such as the risk of eviction, unstable living arrangements, inadequate housing conditions, and the constant struggle to maintain a suitable place to live. When you worry about your home, you can't take care of your past trauma, that's were we help and provide support.
Food insecurity is a state where individuals or households lack consistent access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food to maintain an active and healthy life. It often involves uncertainty about the availability of food, limited or inadequate access to affordable options, and the need to make difficult choices between food and other basic needs. Food insecurity can have detrimental effects on physical health, cognitive development, and overall well-being, making it a critical issue to address in communities. Similar to food insecurity, if you're worried about your next meal, you can't take care of what you have going on. Therefore we are proud of the support we provide.
