PTSD and other trauma induced metal challenges comes in many shapes and sizes. By learning practical, grassroots skills you learn how to better help when those challenges occur. These skills are also great to learn if someone you care about is struggling. By learning how to spots the signs and symptoms of PTSD, you can become equipped to provide the best care possible.
Sometimes we may think of challenges as being universal, but in reality our experiences are all different. I AM The Veteran is a female only specific program offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow from a like minded perspective and focusing on female specific challenges.
Having a healthy mind goes beyond working through trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Working to eat right, sleep right, and feel good about you, all goes a long way to establishing healthy neuro connections and thinking.
If you are just leaving the military, trying to figure out what to do, can be daunting. Besides leaving the military, when past experiences may cause us to lose a job, or during that journey you may discover what you're doing isn't what you want to do.
